Matte Tiles by the Case
Link to Matte TilesAll of the big box home improvement stores carry a 50-tile, deliver-to-store option that works perfectly with our system. These take about a week to arrive, and are more expensive than the glossy local tiles, but we have found the surface to be a nice upgrade vs. the glossy surface.

Do you live far from a big box hardware home improvement store, don't have a car, or simply do not want to go to a hardware store? We have you covered with our 15-Pack of tile Inserts, mailed right to your door. We inspect each tile for fit and damage, then double-box them securely and ship them right to you.

6-pack of Luxe Plastic Inserts for V2 System
In designing the Bat System for Aspire, we discovered that we absolutely love throwing on inserts made from the exact same material as the motherboard surround. These inserts are textured ABS plastic, fit like a dream, and are totally flush with the throwing surface. sold in packs of 6.
This is a great option especially for people who use ribs to finish the bottoms of pots, and those who want a perfectly flush surface to throw on.

Dimensions
The system is designed to fit most potters wheels in North America, including Brent, Nidec/Shimpo, Pacifica, Speedball/Creative Industries, Skutt, and more. The only wheels it doesn't fit are tabletop wheels like the Aspire or Quark, and the very old ShImpo RK wheels. The hole for the tiles fits the nominal 6" tiles found at Lowes, but not the ones at Home Depot. We don't know why they are different sizes.
Materials
The Motherboard Surround is cut from durable, solid ABS Plastic, similar to a Plasti-bat.
The Pry Tool is made from 304 Stainless steel with a 3D printed PETG handle, the same type of plastic as a water bottle.
The Shammy is made from synthetic chamois PVA material which is super absorbent.
