These ‘bat pins’ are 1/4" stainless hex capped screws with stainless wing nuts. While most bat pins in the ceramics industry have the same diameter, we found out that the Speedball, formerly Creative Industries, wheels come with bat pins that are too wide for our motherboard. This can cause users to think that the bat is warped due to the incorrect fit. We decided to sell bat pins on our website with a guaranteed fit for those with Speedball wheels, or anyone else who wants to guarantee that the motherboard fits properly. 

These come in long and short versions.  Wheels vary in how the pins mount, so please check your wheel for thickness and choose accordingly. You can feel whether the pin is going through a thickened, reinforced area, like a Brent-B, or whether the pin passes through the thin area like a Shimpo/Nidec Whisper.  Watch the video for more info about how to check which one will fit your wheel properly, and when in doubt, the manufacturer of your wheel should have proper bat pin length listed on their respective websites. 

Shipping is included in the $6 price. We will ship in an envelope, USPS first class.  If ordered with a bat system, we will put them in with it. At this time they are only available in the US as a standalone purchase.

These bat pins require that a hole is already existing in your wheel head. These bat pins will not work to secure the Blue Bucket Tools bat system if the holes do not exist.

We offer 30-day free returns that are easy to do.  Simply contact us at bluebuckettools@gmail.com and we will initiate the return process. Once initiated, you will get a free return shipping label.  We will finish the return process for a refund or exchange as soon as we receive the return items. 

Shipping to Canada

We offer shipping to Canada via USPS First Class International, which we’ve found to offer the best balance of reliability and cost. A flat rate of $17.50 USD will be applied to all Canadian orders.

Please note that we do not collect or charge any taxes, duties, or import fees. These may be assessed by Canadian customs and are the responsibility of the recipient. While many customers receive their orders without additional charges, there have been cases where packages are unexpectedly handed off to a carrier like UPS, which may result in extra fees for brokerage or duties.

Unfortunately, once your package leaves our hands, we have no control over the shipping process or any additional charges that may arise. We recommend being informed about potential import fees before placing your order.
